MINGORA: At least 10 people were killed when militants attacked the residence of a local MPA’s brother in Swat early Monday.

Unknown armed men attacked the residence of MPA Waqar Ahmed’s brother with rocket-propelled grenades, leaving him dead along with his two brothers and seven bodyguards.

Security forces cordoned off the area soon after the incident, while the corpses of the deceased were transferred to the local hospital.

The curfew was relaxed in violence-hit valley since last two days.
